Our Story

How two passionate baristas converted a vintage delivery van into a high-end mobile espresso bar.

Coffee Without Borders

Sip La! was founded in 2024 by Leo and Maya, two lifelong baristas who grew tired of the traditional brick-and-mortar café model. They wanted to bring micro-lot specialty coffees directly to the community—delivering top-tier cafe standards without the rigid boundaries of a static storefront.

“We realized that the best part of running a coffee shop is the people you meet. By taking our bar on wheels, we get to be a part of different neighborhoods every single day.”

They rescued a vintage 1982 step van, retrofitted it with a premium La Marzocco espresso machine, custom solid oak counters, and solar panels to power the coffee grinders. Today, Sip La! is a familiar and friendly sight in business districts, art centers, and weekend markets.

What Drives Us

Direct Trade Beans

We source our beans directly from small family-owned farms in Colombia and Ethiopia. By bypassing middlemen, we ensure farmers receive fair wages while selecting the highest quality micro-lots.

🔥

Local Small-Batch Roasting

To guarantee peak freshness, our beans are roasted twice a week in small batches by our roasting partner right here in the city. You will taste the difference in every single shot.

🌍

Eco-Conscious Commuting

Our vintage van runs on recycled biodiesel. We only use compostable cups, lids, and straws, and we donate our spent coffee grounds to local community gardens for fertilizer.
